Indie University Nashville is a 3 day conference focusing on Christian musicians, touring artists, bands, songwriters, worship leaders and others. Held near Marathon Motor Village in downtown Nashville, April 15-17, 2010, this event is a must attend for those serious about their music mission.
Indie University Nashville (formerly called "The CIA Summit") brings independents together to network and learn how to be effective in Christian music ministry. Attendees will also learn about the business of music ministry, and hear from former industry and current indie-stry experts in a roundtable/town hall setting.
Produced by Indieheaven.com founder, Keith Mohr, Indie University Nashville will feature an all day showcase on April 15, 2010, where early registrants will perform in front of peers, and indie-stry folks. Feedback will be provided via critique sheets available to those who perform.
April 16-17, 2010 will feature open forum discussions and panels. Evening concerts will be given by select attendees. Morning devotions will be by Scott MacLeod, pastor of "The Fortress of Hope."
