Hit Songwriter Rand Bishop ("My List"/Toby Keith) will join several other professional songwriters for "Tunesmithing Off Music Row", a monthly songwriters show from 6:30-9 p.m. Sept. 8 (Thursday) at Casablanca Coffee, 602 12th Ave. S.  Taking the stage from 7-9 p.m. will be professional tunesmiths Rand Bishop, Susan Alexander, Vance Lambert and Bonnie Lee Panda. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. with an "open mic" for emerging songwriters. "Open mic" participants may sign up on a first-come, first-served basis, performing up to two original songs. Publicist-educator-composer Chuck Whiting will emcee the show. Admission is free. Casablanca Coffee is located at 602 12th Ave. S.
