I am a full-time mix engineer looking to lease a professional control room where I can set up my own equipment and work. The room does not need to be large, but it should have space enough for my console and a machine room. I am looking for features like accurate acoustics, equipment racks, quiet HVAC, etc... A booth would be nice. I am already working out of a loft space in Nashville, but I would prefer to be in a real studio. Please PM me if you have a space that might work. Thanks.
I would be open to a home with a studio in it as well. I would prefer to rent or lease at this time, but buying isn't out of the question. It would need 3BR, 2BA.
I don't whether they'd be up for renting/leasing but there's a home that was up on the gearslutz board a few days ago that's in the Nashville area. Here's the link:
For what it's worth, I'm actually the tenant moving out of the place that John linked you to. I'm moving out because I've got my first kid on the way and just want to cut down on my monthly expenses. The control room is a little tight but I found the my mixes translated well to other places. It might be too much space overall for your needs though.
