Ideal Songwriter's keyboard
I am in the market for a keyboard that I can bring to a writing session (so it needs to have its own speakers) and I would also want it to be able to go to writing rounds and plug in to the system... does a keyboard like this exist? What kind should I look for, how much?

Try a Yamaha NP-30. It has 76 keys (semi-weighted) and built in speakers. It's only 11 lbs so it's easy to take to sessions under one arm. It works for me. Good luck.
