Doug Sarrett?
Has anyone ever worked with Doug Sarrett? I met him once, and he has been my hero for years, but i've never been lucky enough.....sigh. I hear he carries a gun to sessions and is known to see sounds in "colors" and talk to himself. wow. What a genius. Truly a visionary.

Is that a gun that he's carrying? That's not what he tells everyone. I am working with him today, and I do have to say, the room is very fuchsia.

Hey Steve,
Could you ask Doug if I can borrow his gun when you come work with me on wednesday? I may need to use it to clean my ears out by then.
Also, what color would he recommend for an out of tune guitar track?

I don't know, sometimes he gets a little "Charlton Heston" when you ask about the gun. I dig your Orange guitars myself. If it is out of tune, it has to go more to the yellow side though.
