Doug Sarrett?
Has anyone ever worked with Doug Sarrett? I met him once, and he has been my hero for years, but i've never been lucky enough.....sigh. I hear he carries a gun to sessions and is known to see sounds in "colors" and talk to himself. wow. What a genius. Truly a visionary.

Before I met Doug, I always thought "tweaking" meant messing with a knob on a piece of audio gear.

Doug was the first engineer I had the privilige to learn from when I first came to town. That was in 1984 when Goober still said "Hey". I've heard the term "southern-man love" when it comes to Doug. What y'all don't know ... he coined the dang phrase.
