AEA Ribbon Mics and preamp selection

I have a pair of AEA R84 ribbon mics and I'm considering the purchase of the AEA RPQ ribbon mic preamp to run with these.  Does anyone have any other suggestions for a pre that would mesh well with these.

You might want to check out a FetHead in-line preamp which will pump up dynamic mics by 20dB which is really all you need for ribbons. Then you can use them with any preamp you like. A much more affordable solution to a better ribbon mic sound.
