I have been a long time fan of SWR. I have had very goo overall luck with them and love the sound they produce...it is a little colored but it suites my taste well!
How about some of you?

I used an old(pre-Fender) SWR Redhead for years and always loved it. Recently, I picked up a TC Electronic Classic 450 head and 4x10 cabinet and they are incredible. Great tone, easy to lug around, Great stuff!!!
SWR is really good, but it's Gallien-Krueger for me. I'm usually using in ear monitors with the mid to high sound of my bass guitar very present and close to my brain. The onstage amp is really only providing "trouser flap" low end, giving a very important and necessary vibe and feel that inspires me a great deal. G-K represents the peak of the quality versus cost curve to me. Really good "meat and potatoes" sound, ample air-shifting capability and I defy anyone to tell the difference between the "trouser flap" of a G-K and any other more expensive brand bass amp.

I'm playing a GK head currently with a early 2000's Fender Jazz. We play a lot of rock, so I play pretty agressively on a lot of songs. The combination of the Fender Jazz and the GK rig leaves a gap in the upper mids, where I really need some "umpf" to cut through. EQs, light distortions/overdrives, etc... haven't seemed to clear me up any. I'm thinking of losing the GK. Anyone have experience or advice for me?
Thanks!
