Exporting Midi from ProTools???
Anyone know how to extract the midi files from ProTools these days? I used to have the ability to build a complete score from Sibelius from ProTools Directly, but a generation back, when I upgraded to v8 with ProTools, I also was informed after the fact, that I'd have to spend a mighty sum on a new full version of Sibelius (despite the fact that I had a comp copy, legal that is, of it that worked with 7.4 before). Now, I have no way to extract my midi files from pro-tools to have scores built. VERY FRUSTRATING! Unless, of course, I buy a full version of Sibelius, but of course, my copyist doesn't use Sibelius, so that creates a new problem entirely. Can't I just go in and grab 'em somewhere among the files? They used to be in the session file folder also... Not any more that I can see!

If I remember correctly, you just consolidate the MIDI file like you would an audio file, then just right-click on the track name, and click "Export MIDI File..." At least that's how I remember it working in PT8... I'd assume it stayed the same in PT9.
