By now many are aware of the raids on Gibson Guitars here in Nashville and Memphis where federal wildlife and game agents shut down operations, confiscated product and pallets of unfinished wood.

I haven't really figured out how I feel about all this or how it will affect the industry as a whole or how it directly affects our already struggling job market. Gibson employees close to 2000 people.

What are your thoughts?

In another twist to this story, the CEO claims the DOJ is suggesting their problems will go away if they source their labor out to Madagascar. I don't normally read this site but the article has an audio link at the bottom of the interview with Gibson's CEO.
