Using a Tascam DM4800

I'm considering a Tascam DM4800 console. I've read so many reviews both good and bad. Some saying it is not user friendly and the manual sucks. Others saying it is a very intuitive.

I would like to see one and talk to someone who uses this. I hate to buy something that takes 3 months to figure out. 

So, who uses the DM4800 and tell me about it.

Jerry, I think Joe Pasquale (NMP Member) has one of those consoles and loves it. I have another friend who absolutely loves its digital patching capability for his DAW and other digital gear. From what I know about them, they are not a bad choice at all. I just haven't had the opportunity to work on one yet.
