ATR Magnetics from York, Pennsylvania (http://www.atrtape.com/) is manufacturing tape as well as RMGI (http://www.rmgi.eu/) out of The Netherlands.

Just like Mike Porter said, NTS Pro Media is great! They are on Music Row just down from the Curb building. Give Mike or Nancy at NTS a call and they'll fix you up. They usually have a good supply of 2" and 1/2" tape in, as well as other formats. They also carry a good selection of nice hard drives and offer some other good services as well. Good folks to know about.

I've had a lot of luck with the ATR the past couple of years. Someone told me Quantegy is producing again, but I haven't had a chance to work with it

Quantegy is not producing. All the assets of the plant were sold. There are several dealers around the country that have Quantegy stock from the last manufacturing run before the plant closed.

They claim to have a lot of Quantegy tape in stock, although the last visit I made there it seemed they didn't have much GP9 or 499 left especially in the desired 1/2" & 1" format.

I have a reel of old stock 2" 499 that I never used. I could use some extra christmas cash, so if anyone wants it... I'll beat whatever price you can get at retail. I just have the one reel, and I know I'll never use it.
