Who was at the Five Peace Band concert at the Schermerhorn on Monday?

Lord, Lord, was that great! That's as much music as I've heard since the RTF Reunion Concert in Atlanta August 2008. So great to see so many old friends there.
OK, all of you, repeat after me....
"I could do that-if I weren't playing sessions"....

Well, I wasn't working, but it was a networking opportunity where i picked up a new client, so I think that counts.

Good to see you there, Roy.
When I was in high school discovering more bass I was a new Stanley Clarke fan. Duh. Obviously, I still am. My father was a Chick Corea fan, so we saw RTF at Vandy together. I think it was in '80 or '81. I didn't realize then what legendary artists I was seeing, not to mention the generational father/son/musician thing. Very fond memory of time with my father. With that same thing in mind, I made sure my 14 year old twins were with me for the Five Peace concert. They REALLY dug it. That put a smile on my face. Great family outing to see some legendary musicians! I think the list of people that I DIDN'T run into is shorter than the list of people I DID run into!
Hopefully more of that caliber to come regularly in Nashville.

That was '83-great show in an acoustically "interesting" gymnasium. I saw Dizzy there in 1981 and remember him scolding the largely loud and inebriated audience there for the Rites of Spring concert.
