Hey folks, I'm looking for some MIDI SEQUENCING SOFTWARE. Pretty soon I'll be upgrading my Mac and using Logic for all my recording work, but for the time being I need to get an application [not digital recording, simply midi sequencing] that I can run on an iMac G4 [800 Meg processor].

Does anyone have something they can sell me?

Man, I wish there was someone here that could explain to me, why my sound card just freaks out on me sometimes. I use Cubase SX--and about 6 months ago, all this started--when I would be working on a song, building vocals, everything working perfect--then the next time I open the same exact song--the sound card just won't work. All my connections are there, all my buses added, I can see that my output and input levels are just fine, but it won't record??? I'll try the Cubase forum, but thought I'd throw it out here to see if anyone has a clue as to what is happening. I'm baffled! Any help is appreciated!

Thanks so much
Amanda

Hey all, I know many here have their own or access to a decent studio. It is Nashville. When I first moved here, I found myself with mix projects that were too big for my home set-up and found myself renting small rooms around town for about 350 a day. Cut to today where I'm sitting on a great space and would love to fill it in these slow times. If anyone could use six iso rooms/booths and a beautiful sounding Sphere Eclipse C console going to PT HD2 for $300 a day (less for multiple days) , please let me know. This includes full use of the building with lounge, kitchenette, wi-fi, etc. Engineer fees will be reasonable if one is needed. Feel free to call or write or stop by to check out the sound and possibilities. Thanks! The Juke Joint

The Nashville Musicians Union are accepting Engineers as members. You can sign the card and get a pension. You can be paid direct, or get your $ from the union when the cards are paid. Either way, you can receive a pension now. The trail has been blazed. If you do at least 12 union sessions a year, this will help you for retirement.

Hey engineers.

I created a survey - an anonymous one - for men in the audio recording industry.

I invite any/all MEN in the industry to take part in this quick 10-question survey - it is for statistical and industry research.

Please cut and paste the following link into a browser window:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=wooLiff4odvhh4q9uT5arg_3d_3d

It is of the utmost importance that you be honest - brutally honest, if need be, when taking this survey - and remember, it is anonymous. Say was you think and feel!

Thanks for your participation and rock on!
