You can just grab all the files in the soundbite region, and drag them to the Track window to the left bottom and they all line up. As normally with other DAW's having the # before the track will put them in that order. Then in track window you can Audio Alignment any of them as needed. A great feature. The new comping feature that is sort of now with PT 8 has been with DP 6. DP 6 runs rather smooth for me, but then it is only 2009.
