if you are getting a new Tower and use libraries- have them install an SSD you will love it especially if you use any VSL or Hollywood String type applications

Good to know. That's what I'm moving to. Thanks!

no issues here- i have a dual quad core and run 7.2- with boatloads of plugs and a UAD2 quad card- pretty amazing how much it will handle-

enjoy!

David, sorry to hear that it didn't work out. If you like, email me one of the files, and I'll see if I can get it to work. I'll send you my address.

For those in the future with this problem, BWF audio files are the best to use for recording. It is much more robust! MOTU added BWF in 6.0 so that it would comply with the AES/NARAS Archival Recommendations of digital media.

Thanks Joe. I'll contact you and after reading this comment if the offer still stands I'll take you up on it.

Ted, I got in touch with the guy at File Buddy. This guy was great! He walked me through all kinds of things to try to get it to work. We were on the phone for over an hour. The bad news is that we were not able to fix it. It has something to do with Resource.frk. I then talked to someone at MOTU and they said that somehow the Header Info was deleted and there's no way to get it back. ???

Ted, I tried what you said and it still won't open them. I'll look into the File Buddy thing you suggested. Thanks so much for the idea.
