Hello. I'm new to Nashville but not it's music. I am a multi-instrumentalist / Utility player and Berklee Grad. I play fiddle, mandolin, Banjo, guitar and Tenor Sax. I sing great harmony and also some lead. Love to play and looking to hook up with great players needing a guy that can fill a lot of shoes. Local, touring, studio or whatever you need. Send me an email: jdonahoe@alumni.berklee.edu

Comment by Don Holmes on January 2, 2012 at 1:47pm Thanks for letting me in this group. Extensive performing experience in many guitar styles. The standard minimalist style of country and rock common in Nashville that emphasizes tone and the right note at the right time, all the way to early Al Di Meola fusion style solo work when you need a little spice in the electric or acoustic track. ('74 LP Custom, '87 AmStnd Strat, Tex Mex AmStnd Strat, '60s Melody Maker slide guitar, '96 Guild D52, Breedlove, high strung Ovation, Joe Pass hollow body, and easy access to many other top shelf & vintage guitars. Own or have access to many amps. Have performed concert level classical pieces in recital and for the Pensacola Symphony Guild, though a long time ago, the discipline and technique have carried over into my modern style of playing when classical guitar ('74 Hernandis Grand Concert from Sherry-Brenner, Ltd. in Chicago) background or solo/lead work is needed. Read guitar music; write and read Nash number charts. Love to perform live with or without band; have recent samples of studio work for indie projects, indie movie, and guitar work on 2 song demos for a high profile songwriter. My singing experience is very similar to my guitar experience, strong, trained, and on pitch. Contact me if you think we can benefit each other.

Comment by SAMANTHA NEWARK on September 29, 2011 at 8:39pm Seeking a wonderful kind talented motivated acoustic guitarist pref a multi instrumentalist that is a Pop guy - my stuff is Synth Pop Electronica - I know there have to be some cool folks in Nashvegas that are like Goldfrapp, La Roux, Imogen Heap, Everything but the girl etc...just need to be able to play my album live. Wanting to do acoustic guitar and vocal sets but also get up to speed with more of an electronica set up so the album can really translate live. Not sure what to expect from Nashvegas as I get it's a country town but putting it out there. I'm getting a lot of really cool media attention for the cartoon I star in "Jem and the holograms" currently airing so I'm able to cross promote the up coming Jem dvd box set release with my brand new album out October 21st.
thanks for reading
Happy trails
Samantha
