Thanks for the link Pete. I totally agree. Great fusion of East/West. The vocals made me wonder if there happen to be multilingual vocalists in the house. I sing in Spanish and took my first shot at Portuguese on Samba de Verao (So Nice)on a project I am producing covering 60's classics in Bossa style. I thought I was tearing it up until my Portugese coach told me she couldn't understand a word LOL!
I didn't feel so bad after she said she couldn't understand Eliane Elias version either and of course Eliane is a native Brazilian. I just uploaded it to my profile if anyone cares to check out my unintelligible Portugesa. Hopefully we'll get some vocalists from some of the other language groups as well in this group.

Neal, I have thought about trying to connect with places of worship in our community that are commonly visited by folks from different cultures and countries, especially from Asia/India and the Mid-East. Mainly for the purposes of identifying local talent in their respective native instruments (not the software) and classical knowlege. Ganesha Temple would likely have a good number of musicians, and some of them might indeed be highly skilled and educated. I wonder about Bansuri and Sitar and such.

There are a few guys at the Ganesha Temple that play mighty fine tablas, etc. I will be posting some of my music with me playing tablas and different world flutes... Stay tuned... :)
