I grew up singing in raunchy honky tonks in Tampa, FL as a teenager before moving to Nashville when I was 18. Sang around town and did a little demo work for a few years. Gave up for a while to be a mom and started doing a little music at my place of worship. That snowballed and now I front a rock band that sings in Hebrew with a Nashville twang (; and plays at conventions, runs, festivals, summer camps, fundraisers....I also got roped into teaching music to little kids at a small school in town which is where I met my current musical partners, Beth Sass and BGV queen, Lisa Silver. Together, (along with John Mahoney on guitar), we play a weird but tight mix of Appalachian sounding songs, mostly in Hebrew. Not what I planned on when I came here but it works! Along the way, I have recorded (with Elisha Hoffman), “Music City Shabbat” and “The Chai Way”. Also featured on "Keeping the Faith” and "God in Music City.” “The Chai Way” has cuts played on XM Channel 28/Sirius Channel 76 during the holidays each year and we are played year round on local stations that feature Jewish music.
