Hey Bill, I loved my 582s that I bought from you years ago. Take good care and all the best to you always, Neal Merrick Blackwood

Ever thought about modding a 421 with the element 90 degrees off? That way the face of the mic screne could be the direction of the mic's element?

This mic is still a great tom mic, but I hate placing them on toms becuase of how far up they stick. If a drummer keeps his cymbals low, then you can hardly get the mic in where you want it. If the element laid flat, you could place the mics a lot easier.

Maybe even an adjustable direction on the element.

Could it be done easily?

Cheers,

Pete.

if you price the 47 at 4700, shouldn't the 12 be priced at 1200?

I remember math questions like that when I was in school. That and something about trains running into each other. I've been afraid of trains since then.

Seriously, when I have a generous budget to buy some more gear, I'll be buying one or two of YOUR 12's. You do great work. Everyone knows this.

Cheers,

Pete.

thanks for the info. I'm bored with my m-149's and tlm-103's. What do your version of the c-12's go for?

Can I get a killer 47 capsule for my Sheffield?

Hello Bill! Nice to see you on here. My RCA 74B you re-worked is doing really well. Thanks for your great work!

Have you reviewed tha Peluso's P-12's or taken a look inside? I'm curious if they're made with the typical chinese parts, or they are quality. They are cheap if they sound anything like C-12's (which they claim, but I've not verified since I don't have any C-12's laying around).

Take care,

Pete.

Great to see you here. You tweaked out my 582s with new capsule and power supply a few years back. NICE:)
