He is the writer of "Language of the Herd", the theme for The Horse Whisperer, Monty Roberts, on which the Robert Redford movie was based. Bill has been a winner/prizewinner in most of the major song contests including NSAI/CMT, Billboard, American Songwriter Magazine and Great Amercin.
As a performing songwriter, Bill has been compared to Steve Earle and Springsteen. He's been a repeat guest at Nashville's Bluebird Café, NYC's Bitter End , Australia's Tamworth Festival and Tin Pan North Toronto.. He co-hosts Nashville's Monkey In A Round writer's night.
