"I always love a set of the high-end yamaha's...but I got to record a new kit that Chad Cromwell brought to a session the other day. The company is Craviotto. AMAZING!"
"I've had a lot of luck with the ATR the past couple of years. Someone told me Quantegy is producing again, but I haven't had a chance to work with it"
After graduating from Belmont in 2006, I went straight into the publishing world, working as catalog manager for RPM Music Group. About six months later, Blake Chancey walked into my office and told me he wanted me to start working with him on his projects, as production assistant and assistant engineer. Fast forward a few years, I have worked on several major label and independent projects (including Montgomery Gentry, Kellie Pickler, Gretchen Wilson, Heidi Newfield) as production assistant, assistant engineer, and also lead engineer. In addition, I continued to keep one foot in the publishing world, working on countless demos and also helping maintain catalog.
Within the past year, I have started working on my own production projects, while still working under Blake Chancey. A large chunk of my time has been focused on developing Nashville rock band, The CO. Since I started work with them in October 2008, they have signed a management deal with RPM Management/Frontline, and are attracting serious attention from booking agents, publishers, and record labels.
