Cody studied music theory, composition, and piano performance at the University of Houston (TX) and was a scholarship recipient at Berklee College of Music in Boston for contemporary piano performance and percussion.

Cody is a freelance musician who currently serves as a keyboardist, music director, and arranger. He has performed and worked with many renown artists, including Cindy Cruse Ratcliff (Lakewood Church), Michael W. Smith, and Ben Vereen. Cody also specializes in composing, arranging, transcribing, and engraving.
