- I have been a singer/songwriter since I was 10 - mostly songs with a folk/country sound to them. Also my songs pay homage to family, friends and growing up in Decatur, Illinois - will try to also pass along my 40+ years experience writing songs for those songwriters out there!
I studied songwriting from the late Jack Segal (Scarlett Ribbons, When Sunny Gets Blue) and Jason Blume (Change MY Mind) while living in California a few years back.
As a songwriter I am currently promoting part of my catalog of songs. For several years Nashville veteran Chris Keaton pitched my songs to the major artists here in town.
Also separately publishing a several songs by writers Greg Shields and Heather Michele Cohen and Brandon Maddox (as well as thier co-writers). (ck website for more details)

Writing the new song....

I thought I'd take a few minutes to go over the process of how a song I wrote just two weeks ago is already pro-demoed and being pitched by my songplugger here in Nashville.
16 days ago, I was experimenting on my iMac in Garageband with different loops and tracks.
