I have been in the music business for a long long time, and still feel that cool rush like when I was a kid when creating and producing. I started off as a sound man in the early 80's and got hired by a professional sound company right around the time I turned 21. I've worked with some really cool people on my journeys...like Aerosmith, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Linda Rondstadt, Yes etc....after I met met the girl who was soon to be my wife for 18 years and still going, I settled down and started working in studios as an engineer and a utility musician in California....I would always stay late and lay down my songwriting ideas and really started to feel the passion for producing which I still have major passion for to this day. It's that moment you feel when it all comes together and vision is captured. After I had my second child, I was referred to a very successful video game company in San Diego to compose music for in game and for FMV "full motion video" as well as sound design and foley. It was a great gig and very profitable, but my heart has always been in writing and producing so I picked up my cross and moved my family to Nashville with no regrets....I LOVE THIS TOWN ! ! !
Thanks for the new found friendship Dave...Your work is awesome, and well delivered. You're a man of many skills in this industry, and you do it very well. I'm glad to be your friend.
Best wishes always!

I've been busy producing an album on Jack Greene. It is mostly a duet album that has several of Jack's friends on it like Lorrie Morgan, Vince Gill, Riders In The Sky, Charley Pride, and others. It has been a work in progress for over a year now. It is sounding good, but it takes time to get the different artists' schedules down to be able to get their keys and actually tie them down to physically getting here to lay their vocal down.

I'll put the 28th on my calendar. Let me know what time is good for you and I'll be there. Looking forward to it.
Notta lotta...I moved up to Nashville last July. I just never had the chance to get back to you to meet up. I did notice an ad at the Music Row Bar and Grill that you are there to host a night. Maybe I'll stop in there some time this week to meet the legend in person!!
Nashville keyboardist Michael Whittaker will be performing with extraordinary musicians: Marcus Finnie - drums, Adam Nitti - bass, Tom Hemby - guitar, Mark Dauthit - sax, and special vocal guest Joey Richey. Michael's music is a high energy fusion o…

What have you been up to lately? Are you playing anywhere downtown or just staying pretty much in the studios?
