About Me:

When I hung up my "mic" for my son, Matt in 1983 i started writing songs..since i didn't play an instrument for years i sung these lyrics and melodies into cassettes and stored them away until my kids grew up..i started trying to put them to music 10 years ago..having your first song put to music for the first time is sort of like childbirth...my songwriting grew stronger with memberships to NSAI and ASCAP and SongU.com..i began my journey to Nashville around 1994..fell in love with the city and it's peole..won the VH1 Song of the Year in 2005 taking the country category and coming in third place overall...most recently awarded TSAI Horizon Award for most promising newcomer..i hope i live up to that award in the years to come...
