- About Me:
- By far, the biggest passion in my life is leading worship. I have traveled with Christian author Stormie Omartian, leading worship for the seminars she does around the country for the past several years. I've also been traveling on my own as a worship leader and artist for the past 13 years, as well as being on staff as a worship leader at Bethel World Outreach Center in Brentwood, TN during part of that time.
I do studio background session work in and around Nashville and have sung on projects for Michael McDonald, CeCe Winans, Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, Tony Orlando & Dawn, Kristin Chenoweth, David Phelps, Helen Baylor, Don Moen, Lee Greenwood, Kim Hill, Vicki Yohe, Sheila Walsh, Mandisa, etc. (I know, I know...name dropping...the cardinal sin!) I've also done some background vocals on projects for Big Idea/Veggie Tales (the "Jonah" movie soundtrack & "The Singing Christmas Tree") as well as several worship projects for Integrity & Word. I absolutely LOVE studio work. The amazing singers & producers I get to work with and all the laughter that usually goes along with it makes it the most fun job in the world. Though r&b/soul/gospel are my favorite genres to sing and the styles I am usually hired for, I've done my fair share of pop, country, classical and even yodeling (...okay, so maybe not yodeling). ;-)
I do a little bit of songwriting here and there and have had a handful of songs cut on worship projects for Integrity, Word and in the CCM market. I wrote half of the songs on my own album (More Of You) and am currently writing for my next project, a worship album, which I hope to have out in the next couple of years.
