I have had the honor of being asked to join the Songwriters Institute of Nashville representing some of the current and most successful songwriters in Nashville – over 25 #1 records in just the last 2-3 years between them. One can check the site address below. The institute also has week long Elite Retreats for writers in places like Key West. FL and Rock Springs Ranch in Oregon – usually 6 writers – 6 students. I don't know whether you heard the awful news about Bart. He passed away very unexpectedly Sunday night. The coroner's report
on cause of death has not been made available. We suspect it was a heart attack. Annie tried to save him with CPR, but he didn't make it.
I thought you would want to know, and that you might want to attend the memorial and/or make a contribution to his memorial fund to help
pay for expenses. Although he was more productive and passionate than ever about all of his final endeavors. Bart died virtually penniless.
I just heard this morning that the memorial will be at Annie's house, this Sunday at 1PM.
