Hello and welcome to my Song Demo Page!

I have written / co-written a number of songs over the years......and at one point in my life, I even thought about trying to become a "legit" Nashville songwriter.

After spending a year of my life in the mid 1990's trying to force a square peg into a round hole, I came to the realization that writing full time was not something I truly wanted to do.....or was necessarily very good at!

It's not that I am incapable of writing a song, it's just something that does not come naturally for me. A true songwriter has an amazing gift.....they write because it just flows out of them. They wake up in the middle of the night with a great melody, they find lyrics in everyday conversation, they get up everyday and simply write about anything just because it's who they are....it's what they do.....and that is not me! I have to fight myself to finish a song.

However, I do on a rare occasions still write for fun. And, since I have a few old song demos laying around collecting dust, I thought I would post them on the off chance that someone here in our NMP community might find one of these tunes useful. I mean, at least ONE of you out there are a friends with Tim McGraw, or Keith Urban! :)

A word about the tunes;
These are NOT masters! They are song demos recorded with ADATS, MBoxes, and PODs.....some of these demos are over 15 years old....some of them I've re-mixed.....some I have not.....some are better than others....and some are just plain lousy! :) I played / programmed and sang everything you hear unless otherwise noted. If it's a female singing, that would be Susanne Gill my co-writer on those songs.

I will add songs as I come across them as well as videos of the songs with lyrics so you can understand the blathering coming from my vocal chords. And maybe I'll even get inspired to write a new one!
