I know we've all seen and heard a lot of things over the years in the business. If you notice I've posted a pic out at a studio I've worked at for years. A few weeks ago there was a video shoot at the studio and a few of the crew were taking pics before the main crew got there just so they'd have an idea of what they were working with. There were two pics taken back to back and unfortunately I don't have the first one but if you notice in the right hand side of the pic there is a blurred… Continue

The one name I haven't seen is one of my favorites Roy Buchanan. I was on the same bill at the old Beachcomber bar in Margate and I am still suprised he could even play that old '52 tele with a heavy wound G jazz set of strings 3 milles off the fretboard.

I just noticed that you're overdue for a smart arse comment from me. Yet, I am lacking in finding one.

Hope you find yourself in the same place I've been. D'OH!

Hi Glen, Good to hear from you. I am a little late to the site but its good to get back in touch and maybe even work together. Sounds like you are doing well. As for the Cold Play lawsuit, not a chance it will go anywhere. And Satriani will be paying a lawyer and a musicologist. Its an ancient melody and you can easily find it in many types of music around the globe. There are still only 8 notes in the scale so someone will hear the same notes in the same order as someone else at the same time. It's amazing it doesn't happen more often. Take care, Mike

Shoot! I can't put up another whitty reply. Good thing. I didn't have one. But it's pretty darn funny when you say that song title out loud with a lisp. BTW, there's a good reason you've never heard the song.

I thought someone suggested a plug in that didn't save settings, but was free. I'm afraid I looked terribly ignorant on that question. LOL. Sometimes the truth is evident.

I'm doing good. Headed to South Africa Tuesday, helping to get a music scene established there. It's been a learning curve for me to try and organize the knowledge I have in a coherent form. I feel like a school teacher !!

Glenn - you used the word learnt in a post ??!!! Did you move to England when I wasn't looking ?!! Are you showing off your educational level?
BTW - you were dead on with everything you said. Thanks for being a voice of clarity.
