About Me:
Greg Sims is an award-winning composer, arranger, orchestrator and producer for film, television and album projects. Throughout his career he has been able to draw from his classical and jazz training as well as his experience in creating commercial music to produce a wide range of memorable work.

He recently composed, orchestrated and produced the score for AMG Film’s "The Lion Of Judah", a 3-D CGI animated feature (set for theatrical release on June 3, 2011) starring the voice talents of Academy Award-winner Ernest Borgnine, Michael Madsen and Sandi Patty. Sims is the co-founder and executive producer of the online music licensing company MyMusicSource Inc. and the music licensing management software company RADAR ML Inc. He has composed the music for the feature film "Tugger: The Jeep 4x4 Who Wanted to Fly", the documentary "Oprah Winfrey's Legends Ball", the PGA Hall of Fame film "Magical Moments", the Kennedy Space Center film "International Space Station LC39", and the Universal Studios Barcelona virtual reality ride "Seafari". The score for "Magical Moments" earned him an American Advertising Award for best musical score. In 2011, he received the Seal of Excellence award from the Positive Music Association as the producer of Annie Sims’ latest album, "Go Within".

A native of Kingsport, Tenn., Sims has held roles such as arranger-in-residence for the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, arranger for the 101 Strings Orchestra, co-founder of World Time Music (a scholastic jazz combo series distributed by the Hal Leonard Corp.), and vice president/head of production for PowerHouse Music Library Inc. He earned a bachelor's degree in studio music and jazz from the University of Tennessee.

Well that is very kind Greg. There are some samples of my music on my profile page here, most of which are my arrangements of jazz tunes I enjoy. But there are also some original compositions there too. I have much more to share, but it will have to wait until I get moved and get my studio set up. I am moving back to Nashville this week after being gone for many years. I will be happy to look into what your company has to offer once I get this move behind me. I will be in touch! Back to packing.
