About Me:

J’Me Penc.

Known simply as “Jamie” to most because his name is usually misspelled and mispronounced.
He was born in upstate New York, on the edge of the Adirondacks, where he was surrounded by amazing subject matter to photograph.
His creative eye started at an early age, shooting all that caught his attention with an old school 110 instamatic camera for starters before moving up to a Minolta X-700.
J'Me was fortunate to be mentored by two art teachers in high school that encouraged him in all aspects of his creativity and a junior high music teacher that further developed his artistic, musical side.
After graduating from high school, J'Me was accepted to Syracuse University but opted to go the community college route while playing music with his band for two years before moving to New York City/ Long Island area to pursue his musical path with some regional success while attending school for audio engineering.
He moved back to Clinton, NY and worked in radio for six years as a radio personality while writing and performing his music before moving to Nashville.
J’Me has called Nashville home for the last 11 years.
He actually drinks Rockstar energy drinks for the flavor and to mellow out with because he’s naturally wired.
He's a bassist, songwriter which his favorite genre to play being modern rock, alternative but plays everything that feels like a good groove.
