James Beasley, born in Fullerton California. Moved away at the age of two to live in Port Angeles Washington a small town two hours west of Seattle. Having been brought up with a musical family and a pair of drumsticks in his hand. James began playing drums at the age of 10.
James not only played jazz in high school winning the most out standing soloist award for the Lionel Hampton Jazz festival he also started playing professionally in his uncles 60’s classic rock band Mercy at 15.
After completing high school James went on to study under the wing of Matt Chamberlain. Who has drummed for (Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, John Mayer, Elton John, Peter Gabriel, Pearl Jam, Keith Urban, SNL, and The Wall Flowers).
James has sixteen years of studio and live performance. He has toured and played in many original bands over the years. Including working with Robby Krieger Legendary guitarist for The Doors, Bassist Phil Chen (for Rod Stewart, Pete Townsend, Jeff Beck) and Chris Henderson of 3 Doors Down.
