"Joshua, I never come to this site. With email and FB to keep up with, I just have no time.

I moved to Nashville in 1990 from the Western NY area. I grew up playing in my Dad's wedding band since I was 10 and studied classical piano at Eastman and SUNY Fredonia. I was a band leader in an Air Force Band.
Since here in Nashville, I have been fortunate enough to pay the bills doing what I love. I moved here because I didn't want to be the "best musician in town any more and when I arrived I was aware immediately that I wasn't and never would be. That is a comforting feeling. What a great place to live. I have been a band leader at Opryland theme park, the Ryman auditorium (Always, Patsy), the General Jackson Showboat and many shows at TPAC. I have been blessed to cross over into many styles here including Jazz, Country, Bluegrass, Gospel, Celtic and others. I have enjoyed playing in the studio and live with many of my heroes including Ricky Skaggs, Vince Gill, The Chieftains, and many others. Currently I am in a band called The Time Jumpers with some of my very favorite players and singers. I also play in a Celtic trio called The Boys of County Nashville. I tour some with Buddy Greene and also Michael Card, two of my closest friends.
I play piano, keys, accordion, concertina, penny whistles, mandolin and bouzouki.
I have a wife, Vicki, (of 25 years), 3 children, and 3 grandchildren.
I am a blessed man!

Great to hear from you. Last week was my last weekend with the Isaacs. I've come off the road to spend more time with my "family" and work in town. I will miss playing with them, they are awesome! Hope to see you soon.
You are a one in a million talent and human. Anyone who reads this who has never worked with Jeff Taylor has really missed the boat. He's the best! (in spite of listing himself as an accordionist). Piano, arranger, band leader. The best.
