Logic Seminar - anyone interested?

Howdy Folks,

Based on all the calls I get for Logic support, I've started toying with the idea of doing small-scale "seminars" focused on optimizing Logic for your workflow.

Depending on response, I could focus on any of these areas:

- General optimizations, tips & tricks to vastly speed up your work
- Scoring for picture, virtual orchestration & integrating 3rd party VI's
- On tour: optimizing Logic for live use

In any case, I'm thinking of a 2-hour session at my studio with no more… Continue

I'm honored and humbled to be working among the folks represented here. Seriously, to wake up every day and make music for a living is one of God's greatest gifts!

Hey Jim,

Yeah, I might hit you up sometime. I'd love to see the way you have your studio set up for orchestration. My setup is meager compared to yours, but we both use Logic and I'd love to see how you've got it tweaked.

Hey Jim, your stuff sounds awesome man. Truly realistic and fantastic arrangements. We've actually both worked with a guy named David DeMarco. I hope we cross paths sometime man. I'd love chat about this virtual orchestration stuff.

Hey Jim! Yeah, one more site to check out every now and then and kill more time...HA! I wasn't able to get to the show the other night to see you guys. I tried a couple of different avenues and none seemed to pan out. We'll definitely catch one soon.

Hi Jim,

I've enjoyed hearing your work! Great stuff!

Not sure if you've already done the Logic thing, but I'd be very interested if you still plan to do it.

I'm a DP guy, so I know a LOT probably wouldn't translate, but workflow is workflow, and I'd love to see some one else's take on how to be efficient in our tech environment.

Thanks for being so willing to share!

Regards,

Jason Garner

Hi Jim, good to know you too. The music sounds amazing!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure most composers take the same pic at their studio. We have way cooler looking workstations than most other musical folks.

Good talking to you this morning! Man, I just noticed your comment you left me. Not sure how I overlooked that. Sorry for the delayed response!
