About Me:

John Allen was born in Rochester, New York but at a young age moved with his family to Clearwater, Florida where he was introduced to various musical influences. At an early age John was listening to everything from Aerosmith to Elton John, I found my calling and a way to stay out of trouble, my music. I spent hour after hour listening to my favorite music and singing. During his high school years I was lead singer in numerous bands in and around Central Florida. I took any spotlight I could to perform in, from being the opening act, to showcasing venues including playing at fundraisers and charity events. Playing in circles of musicians who played with the likes of Dicky Betts of the Allman Brothers, I was learning the ins and outs from some of music’s best. I been blessed to have many wonderful musical career opportunities including the opportunity to work on several original recording projects with Singer/Songwriter Michael Dan Ehmig who has written for the likes of Deanna Carter, Lita Ford, and Blackfoot Vivian Cambell to name a few. The project was recorded and co-produced by David Muse one of the original members of Firefall who is currently touring with the Marshal Tucker Band. In 1999, John moved from Clearwater, Florida to Knoxville, Tennessee.


Now living in Nashville ,Tennessee since 2008.
