- About Me:
- I moved to Nashville in 1981 and was lucky enough to work right off the bat. My early gigs led me to meet some of the guys who would eventually ask me to be in the band that became "Restless heart". My influences were Buddy Rich, Bobby Columby, Billie Cobham, and Steve Gadd. I'm a North Texas Alumni (3 O'clock lab band) who always loved pop/rock and vocal bands, and developed a love of country music while supporting myself in school playing in country bands in Syracuse, NY as a percussion major before transferring to TX. I studied with Ed Shaughnessy (The Tonight Show) in NYC from 1970-72. I have been blessed to be able to have the career I've had! I'm a proud grandfather now to 4 wonderful grandkids and very fortunate to still be touring with the band.
