What A Great Month!

Wow! What a great month this has been! I really thought with the economy and all the drab news that my work schedule would have been slowed to a near stall, but the opposite is happening. My recording session work has picked up and I've made a lot of new friernds as well as clients. Worked on some gospel CD projects and songwriter demos. Got to work with Alan O'Day in the studio, he was the writer/ singer of the #1 Billboard hit "Undercover Angel" and co-writer… Continue

Life Lessons

Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland,
Ohio

"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught
me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written. My odometer
rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

1. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.

2. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.

3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone...

4. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the sec… Continue

Playing Lap Steel At NAMM - WOW!

This years SUMMER NAMM SHOW 2009held at the NASHVILLE CONVENTION CENTER was a rousing success, I feel. The company I represent demonstrated their high quality line of instruments. Some major vendors where absent as in Peavy, Gibson and Fender, but hey, made room for the rest to sell and party, sell & party we did!

Our booth was #1248 with the whole Morrell crew from Bristol, TN and the awesome instruments. Recently, I recieved a full endorsement from Morre… Continue

Open Letter to Lilac Moon Productions from John Heinrich!

Judy,

Thanks yet once again for all your hard work! I sincerely appreciate you working with the contracts and publishing on the "Dove" project. Also many thanks for lining up the video session with Morrell Music! All the upcoming video and music projects, that are to numerous to mention, that we will be doing in the new year require someone with your expertise and knowledge and without that it's only a sweet unattainable dream that slips by so slowly one would never notice. I just can't… Continue

Thanks for the friendship, John. Love your sax on "I'm Not Sorry" and your pedal steel on "Pride" ! I play a little on these instruments as well. The Ventures w/ Nokie Edwards is some of the first music I learned how to play on the electric guitar way back when ! Would love to come and hear the Radio Daze Big Band sometime. How can I find out when and where ? I'm new here in Nashville, but I've been playing professionally for over 40 years up around Cleveland, Ohio. Hope that we'll get a chance to meet and play sometime soon. Warmest Regards, Ed.

John,
The tracks that you played Sax on sound great! We're nearing the end of the project. Just adding backup vocals and any fixes we need to do, then mixing. :-) You'll get a copy once the project is done.

John; Thanks for the add. I think you're one of the most talented guys I've run into. All the best to you. No word from Joe yet about last weekend...I'm not giving up though. He has a way to get what he's owed.
