Occupation:
Engineer, Studio Manager, Technical Director
Company Name:
Art Of The Groove
About Me:
Moved to Nashville from Erie, PA in 1987: 16th Avenue Sound - technical director (10 years), Antarctica Studio - owner (2 years), Art Of The Groove - owner (9 years). Basked in the Nashville music industry's glory years throughout the late 80's and 90's, then endured the subsequent decline thereafter and lived to tell about it!

Currently integrating several cutting-edge technologies to create new business models for the 21st century music industry.

Created FEM Records - which is a next-generation record label focusing exclusively on Female Electronic Musicians. The label features several passionately creative artists from around the world.

Released three albums as SecondaryCell - my personal electronic music project influenced by IDM, Down-tempo and Glitch styles.

Hey John,
Good to see you on here. Somewhere I have an Antartica cassette (!) with me and Victor Wooten sharing bass duties-humbling indeed!
Best,
Roy

Hey John,

Great to hear from you! Nice pic! Good to hear you're still in the biz, too. I'm amazed at how many of my friends are tried-and-true survivors...it makes me feel like I know the right people .

Best, and thanks for the add!

Oh yes, I remember that session. 1993. We ended up with 13 ADAT machines just to get 4 of them that worked correctly. Talk about bleeding edge! What an experience.

Nice reconnecting.
