"Not silly at all, I appreciate the input. I have PE3, got an upgrade to PE5, but it was so buggy I hardly looked at it until PE6 and its variations came out. I skipped over 7, heard too much against it. I have 8.5 in a box too, was my first…"

"I have X1 in the box, am also waiting on a computer upgrade. Producer 6.5 is my most current version. I had a little cash for toys this year and decided on an 8 pack of preamps instead of a computer."

"There was some pretty good music made in the dark ages.....I'm using X1 Producer now. Still getting used to it but I'm liking it pretty well, particularly the screenshots. Very nice feature. Hey, where can I go to hear some of your stuff?"

"I'm in the semi-dark ages, using S3 PE and S6 PE (although I do have PE8 and X1 in boxes waiting for a new computer to live in).  I track on a modular hard disk deck and do editing and mixing in the box. Workflow is good for me."

Sonic Sculpture is moving next week

Posted on February 9, 2010 at 9:45pm 0 Comments

After five wonderful years at the current location, moving to a new haunt in Leipers Fork. I only hope the new space sounds somewhere near as good as this room has. The variety of projects I was lucky to work on here set a benchmark to shoot for. Moving day is Monday, and with any luck I'll be operational within a month or so, wish me luck!

Good to hear. I'm not sure wwhy Sonar isn't better accepted...at any rate, glad I'm not all alone on Planet Sonar. What version are you using?

Hey Jon - my friend Kent Burnside plays with Louise quite a lot, and he said the same thing. I guess I better get on that. Good to hear from you and good luck with the project!

OK sounds good. Just let me know when you have free moments.

I'm up against trying to get a project done, finish another by March, and with the new baby, I'm not getting as much work done as I'd like to be getting done, so I'm having to sacrifice a bit of networking and social time. But trust that I WANT TO! Especially want to see your setup. It's such a beautiful room.
