Funny you should mention "Girls Ride Horses, Too" ... I'll be singing it in my set at the charity event for Melodic Hearts at the Troubadour tonight...
Hi Kevin, Sorry to burst your bubble but i'm not the Billy Sherrill who did the records at the old Sam Phillips studio. That was the other Billy who wrote Stand by your man and others. I engineered Kenny Rogers records Lucille, The Gambler, and many others since then. But thanks for the compliment. I'll tell Billy next time I see him. We have worked together also over the years. That was confusing also.
Thanks, Billy

Gosh what a small world! It's good to meet you Tom. I really dig your setup.
Right now I'm a writer Platinum Planet Music. I've worked sessions in town for a while....kept busy doing production out of my studio since '89 -- now I'm working toward playing around town, even for free. It's all about collecting e-mails and selling CDs anymore....the racket's changing.
I'm impressed with your work. Hope to run into ya sometime.
