Guitar amp crashes protools

For background, this is a HD rig running on a G5 in a wood rack in the machine room adjacent to the control room. Engineers had a electric guitarist/producer in the control room and put his amp in the machine room within a couple of feet of the protools rack. All the other players in the tracking room. Tools would record fine with all tracks armed, no players playing, but as soon as he played electric, protools crashed within 1-2 minutes.
OK. Moved amp to a different iso. Tools worked…
