I love what everyone had to say! I think it's truly safe to say that all of us just basically want to be known, want to be heard, want to be understood, want to work and above all.....don't we all long for community, true fellowship with each othe...
I devote the majority of my online time to my internet recording forum, 3dB. It's been active since 1998. It's sort of like a blog that predated blogs by 5+ years. It's my thoughts and those of others, including lots of Q and A, about recording te...
Interesting topic Lisa...
I think that "webbing out" is basically a good thing, however more often than not it seems that the results do not equal the amount of work put into setting up and maintaining a variety of sites, joining and posting to s...
Well, I've been in the music business since I was 16, working for 30 years now, singing song demos, bgv's, sang my way through college on a scholarship with the Belmont Reasons at Belmont College, now University. Bob Mulloy changed my life and career path... Did the 5 year college plan ending up with a degree in Business/Marketing, but still working in the studio during that time... so I learned plenty about the music business..more than I wanted to know.. Graduated and went and did the show Star Search in LA. Came home and started touring steady for about 4 years, with David Meece, then Russ Taff, meanwhile singing on records, demos, jingles, commercials, radio ID's when off the road.
Started an CCM artist career in 1991 til 1998 with Sparrow/EMI Music Group. Put out 3 albums with 14 hit singles in the top 5 of AC, CHR, Inspo Christian Music Charts. 7 of the those songs charted in the #1 slot. Too bad having a #1 on any chart, doesn't make you any money or keep you on a label.
In 2000, recorded an independent project and am currently working on a new independent release for Feb. of 2008. Still singing in the studio, jingles, voice-overs, and wondering if I'll ever be able to quit...but it's a blessing to be able to do this for this many years.. and work with so many fun musicians, producers and singers.

Hi Lisa... nice to see a fellow singer... and a masterful one at that... here! It's been a long time, but I hope you remember me. See ya round the neighborhood!
Lisa....I hear your name quite often in conversations with my bud Bonnie Keen. (She & I perform together in the Glory Bugles.) She speaks of you with great love and respect. Hope you are well.
Hey Lisa,
You and I met on the set of Prime Time Country several years ago when you were singing on the show and I played it a couple times with Lee Roy Parnell. You lent your lovely voice to us on a song or two. Was great meeting you then, nice seeing you now, and I hope we get to work together again. Blessings to you!
Lisa,
Hey it's Marsh Hall and Guy Penrod - we're up here in Indiana recording a new vocal band Christmas project, and your name came up in a conversation of our favorite singers. Just thought we'd say hey.
