Profile Information

Occupation:
Owner/Image Consultant
Company Name:
paNASH Style: "Putting your best foot forward never goes out of style." Lori Bumgarner
About Me:
Image consultant, author, and speaker Lori Bumgarner assists recording artists, music industry professionals, and other professionals in developing an image and personal brand to advance their careers. As the owner of Nashville's paNASH Style, an image consulting company that provides wardrobe styling and interview coaching services, Lori has worked with a variety of clients including Grammy nominees, video chart toppers, various record labels, industry executives, entertainers, entrepreneurs, busy moms, and more.

Lori thrives in an environment where first and foremost she can be an encouragement to others in their careers, while also being able to express her creative side through image development and all that it entails.

After ten years as a college career advisor guiding others in pursuing their passions, Lori decided it was time to follow her own advice. Not that she didn't already love her work as a career advisor, but she had other desires and interests from early in life that she wanted to integrate in a creative way into what she was already doing. For many years up until then, the question of how exactly to do so was always ringing in her ears. In 2007, the answer to that question became clear when Lori decided to combine her zeal for career advising, her gift of encouraging others, and her eye for fashion and style to create paNASH Style (a play on the words "panache" and "Nashville" in case you didn't catch that the first time!).

Today, Lori's business has expanded to include work directly with record labels for their award-winning artists, numerous speaking engagements in the music industry and at various colleges on the topic of image, a weekly blog, a resource book entitled Advance Your Image: Putting Your Best Foot Forward Never Goes Out of Style, and numerous media appearances. Her sound and practical advice has been featured in magazines including Nashville Lifestyles, online blogs such as The Wall Street Journal "Juggle" blog, radio shows including the WKDF Morning Show and The Music Row Show, and the popular local television program Better Nashville.

Lori's primary goals in working with her clients are to help them see themselves in the same light that God sees them, to bring continuity to their talents and their appearance, and to polish the gem they already are on the inside so that they shine even brighter to the world!

You can follow Lori on Twitter @paNASHstyle or contact her directly at lorib@paNASHstyle.com.

You know yer stuff, kid. And that stuff is important in this world that values marketing over substance. Every performer should be conscious of establishing his or her brand - visually, sonically and with their point-of-view and attitude. Those are the qualities that sum up a really viable artist/commodity.
Best in all your endeavors...
