Profile Information

Occupation:
Professional Drummer - Drums / Electronic Percussion
Company Name:
Pop / Rock / Country / Funk / Blues
About Me:
I am a 28 year seasoned professional drummer, originally from Rochester, NY, just moved to Nashville, TN from Tampa, FL. Have toured with Trevor Finlay and Bobby Cutshaw since moving here to Nashville. Also play with Randy Nations, Alyssa Claar, Trey Hill.

My love for the instrument started when I was 3 years old. My older brother had a 1956 Ludwig jazz kit that when he was not at home, I would sneak up behind the drums and try to play anything by standing (had to......could not reach anything by sitting!!!). As I grew older and listened to all kinds of music, I started to understand when and where to play fills, or where the song was going to help create the mood of the song, etc.. By the age of 12, I was playing with some school friends that were easily a few years older than me, and started to play gigs locally in Rochester, NY. It was then I realized that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. During High School, I was already playing gigs 4-6 times a month, and then it became 3-4 times a week after high school AND working 40 hours a week at a daytime job!!! Life was good at 18!!! That all ended when the music scene died out in the mid to late '90's in that area and I started a family.

My wife Charyl and I have been married now for 14 years and have three beautiful children. Madison 10, Ryan 7, and Nicholas 3. Charyl took a job opportunity in Tampa, FL in 2005. So we moved to Tampa and lived there for 3 years. I met Gary Schutt, a Berkley graduate guitarist and started a rock cover band called Category 3. As the band grew more in the Tampa area I had a calling to go to Nashville to further my career.

I have been living in Nashville now since June of 2009. I am always upbeat and positive about everything I play and who I play with. Be your best and at your best is what I strive for every time I sit behind the kit. I also pride myself on my versatility to be able to play whatever is thrown at me in the most musical way possible. I can and will perform for any artist that will have me. I am also willing to travel abroad and have a passport waiting for the next stamp!!! LET'S GO!!!

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and also check out my videos as they are posted to this site.

Thanks you very much.
