Company Name:
Nashvillerocker®
About Me:
Chris Nashvillerocker® DiMella was raised in Miami, Florida. He started playing guitar as a young boy in the 3rd grade. Chris took lessons at local music stores, then played in rock bands and did sessions through out Rockway Jr. High and Sothwest High school in Miami, FL. In the 80’s, Chris began studying jazz with many well-known and respected University of Miami players, including John Defaria, Mitch Farber, Andy Most, and Glenn Minneau. Lessons didn’t come cheap, so Chris was forced to keep his day job and take on other odd jobs to pay for lessons and gear. After high school Chris was accepted to the prestigious Berklee School of Music. He left Berklee to study with esteemed University of Miami professor Randall Dollahon http://www.music.miami.edu/faculty/msj/dollahon/ “The Professor” taught him voice leading, reading, ear training, rhythm guitar and lead guitar, as well as the basics of preparing for playing in live and session situations. While studying with Randall, Chris soon began getting calls for session work that included all styles of music: rock, blues, country, jazz, fusion. During one lucky session, Chris was introduced to a female singer who later became his wife. Looking for a place to settle down and build a family, Chris moved back to the birthplace of his mother and grandmother, Nashville, Tennessee. Musically, it meant starting over with new styles to add to his repertoire (bluegrass and C&W music). Nashville and its wonderful people have embraced Chris and shown him his true calling. He is currently working towards continuing his music studies and pursuing a teaching degree so that he can help train others to achieve their dreams and share with them the joy that music has always brought into his life. Chris has recently joined ASCAP and now Nashvillerocker® is registered under ASCAP writer/Publishing

Chris also has had the incredible good fortune of consulting with some of the best in the business. On many occasions, I have discussed professional troubleshooting on rack wiring configurations, CAE switching systems http://www.customadioelectronics.com and amp mods with Martin Gloub. Consulted with John Suhr of Suhr Guitars who custom wound my single coil and humbucking pickups on my guitars, and have further consultation’s with John Suhr on other guitars, amps and amp mod. http://www.suhrguitars.com

Wow! Thank you for your kind words on my music, blogs and pics! I really appreciate it. I'm glad someone enjoys my rambling both with the pen and the notes.

The guitars on Vincenzo sound amazing. Great work. Great playing.

I see on your bio that you term yourself as an arranger and composer. You should put some of that work up too!

Let me know if I can ever be a resource or help to you. I'm always here to serve!

Cheers,

Pete.

Hey Chris , I truly appreciate the people you are having to come to the seminar . I really do these for artist not for personal gain, they don't pay ! smiles . I am a seeker of knowledge and feel its our right to pass that on . It will definitely be a great time . We are trying to reach out to students and just novices of the industry . Merci ' my friend .
