Not sure which guitar you're talking about, but it's either a 1951 Gibson Southern Jumbo, which I sold recently, or it's a 1952 Gibson CF100, the first flat top / cutaway ever. I still have that one, and it records beautifully, equal to the Southern Jumbo, rarer, but possibly less expensive (less sought after as well). Another alternative to the J45 / Southern Jumbo is the LG2; I sold mine to Chuck Cannon, regrettably, although I'm glad he's got it. Nice to hear from you. I rarely check in here, btw...
