About Me:
Hi...Because I've *commuted* from the DFW, Texas area to Nashville for 23 years, I've written for Country, Christian and Pop ( Michael Peterson's "DRINK SWEAR STEAL and LIE", Jessica Simpson's "HEART OF INNOCENCE", 4Him's "BEST GIFT OF ALL")... and others...

I founded/own StarBright Music & Creative Group. Before that, I was a former staff writer with BMG/Final Four Nashville; EMI-CMG; and Brentwood-Benson ; I live in TEXAS (but I cheer for OU - go Sooners!) I love to write.

Have written print musicals for the church, other choral works, cuts for Christian radio, country hits and pop cuts. Pro member of NSAI...and have done speaking/seminars for them...have done music business consulting as well.

Lots of lyrics, though I've written alot of music too - prolific pianist.

tidbits...attended OBU, Oklahoma Baptist University BEFORE I married & transferred to OU - OBU honored me w/a PROFILES IN EXCELLENCE award in 2006 - to my delight and humble surprise.

What you might not guess about me...I used to own a cattle ranch! With my husband Paul...sold it a few years ago. The 'prettiest place in Texas', as some of our cattle customers used to say. Place as in HOME PLACE, or GRANDDAD'S PLACE...
