Randy Smith is an accomplished performer in a variety of styles including R&B, Jazz, Country, Gospel, Pop and Rock.
Since moving to Nashville in 1994, he has performed, toured and/or recorded with artist such as, Lee Ann Womack, Larry Carlton, Louise Mandrell, Pam Tillis, Trisha Yearwood, Don Henley, Daryle Singletary, John Hyatt, Kid Rock, Rhett Akins, Shelby Lynn, Lari White, Jeff Carson, Jana Long, The Katinas, Hal Ketchum, Deanna Carter, Geron Davis, Christ Church Choir and many others.
A few years ago Randy also had a record deal with his own traditional Jazz band, Nash‘deVille, on Summit records. The album included brilliant performances by guitar great and friend Larry Carlton, saxophonists Kirk Whalum & Mark Douthit and pianist/songwriter Pete Wasner. In addition to being called on for his bass playing, he is also a sought-after vocalist.
In addition to sessions and his gig with Lee Ann Womack, Randy is working on the first record with his band Pat McDonald (Drums), Kevin Adams (Keys) & Shane Sutton (Guitar)
Randy and his beautiful wife, Jan, have been married for 25 years. They have two children both of which are talented in their own right. Zachary 20 is an aspiring film maker who finished his first year at Watkins College of Art, Design & Film. Before graduating from Nashville School of the Arts in May of 2010, Zach & his friends David Large & Jake Beitter won the 2010 Full Moon Film Festival in Nashville. He also won a Student Emmy from The National Academy of Television, Arts & Science for another one of his short films. Madison 16 has been training in stage acting for over 4yrs and plays guitar and sings. She will is a High School Junior at Nashville School of the Arts.

I swear I saw you walking on Sam Ridley Parkway yesterday (9/2/2010) about 1pm. I came back around to see if you needed a ride or something but you were gone... was that you?
