Electric bassist, vocalist, songwriter. I've toured internationally as bassist/background-vocalist for country/southern-rock artist Stephen Cochran since 2006 - opening for many of today's major country acts, garnering appearances on live television performances and several music videos. Large festival/concert credits include CMA Music Festival (2007 - 2010) in Nashville, TN; Jamboree In The Hills (2009, 2007) in Morristown, OH/Wheeling, WV; WYCD Downtown Hoedown (2010, 2009) in Detroit, MI; 95.7 The WOLF's (KBWF) Beach-Ball-Free-For-All in San Francisco, CA. Notable venues include the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC; the Ford Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, MI; and the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. I've also worked as a hired-gun for Larry Bagby (known to movie fans for his role as Johnny Cash's bass player in Walk The Line), Courtney Dickinson, Marion Grace, and Stephanie Layne as well as being a guest bassist for Clint Black at the WYCD 10-Man-Jam in Dearborn, MI (2008). I've done session/demo work for several independent artists at various studios in Nashville and New England. I'm a founding member of the veteran New Hampshire indie-rock band, Nostalgic Distortion, and have also performed and recorded as a solo artist.
I'm a former public-school music teacher and have my B.S. in Music Education from Plymouth State University in Plymouth, New Hampshire. Previous to enrolling at Plymouth I studied for a year at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.
Though I limit my professional musical endeavors to electric bass, I have also been playing saxophone (alto/tenor/baritone) since I was in elementary school and have played in several community big bands/concert bands throughout the years.
